 Chef Monrea is very passionate about bringing people together through creative cooking. With over 15 years of culinary experience he has served as a chef de cuisine. He joined the AAA 4 Diamond Restaurant Team as Deputy Chef in 2016 and served as a high-end restaurant with local ingredients. Chef Monreal says, "I'm so lucky to have fresh seafood like Kona Gampachi and Lobster on Hawaii Island." It's also a pleasure for me to include locally grown meat and produce on a plate for guests to enjoy. ”Prior to joining the Fairmont Orchid team, Chef Monreal served as a food and beverage manager at the famous Ritz-Carlton Residence in Vale, Colorado.
