Boots & Kimo’s Homestyle Kitchen has been a beloved family and friend gathering place for 30 years, celebrating a culinary journey that began with our father's dream. Established on Father's Day in 1994 in honor of George "Boots" Kiakona, a Maui native and Navy veteran, the restaurant was a tribute to his vision, though he never lived to see its realization. In the early days, my brother and I dedicated ourselves to bringing our father's dream to life, with my brother perfecting family recipes in the kitchen while I managed the front of the house.

Our signature dish, the macadamia nut sauce pancakes, is a testament to our commitment to blending tradition with modern innovation. The Pulehu Ribs, inspired by childhood beach BBQs, are another cherished classic.
