Giovannis Shrimp Truck Introduction
Giovanni's is a renowned Hawaiian shrimp truck that started with a converted 1953 bread truck. Originally serving along the North Shore, it quickly became a local favorite as the only shrimp truck in the area. In 1996, Giovanni's established a permanent location at 56-505 Kamehameha Highway in Kahuku Town, and in 1997, a second truck was set up at 66-472 Kamehameha Highway in Haleiwa Town.
The restaurant has gained acclaim for its unique recipes, winning several awards at national and international food competitions for its Hot & Spicy Shrimp and Scampi Marinade. In 2006, Giovanni's purchased the land where the truck was parked, and in 2010, built a pavilion to offer guests a space to enjoy their shrimp and the company of others. Giovanni's looks forward to proudly serving its customers for many more years to come.
