A new shabu-shabu establishment has recently emerged on the Windward side of Oahu. Opened just last month, Kogi Aina brings a touch of Korean flair to the hot-pot scene in Kaneohe.
This family-owned restaurant features a sauce bar and fully stocked refrigerators with a variety of high-quality meats and vegetables, ensuring a versatile dining experience. Rather than offering pre-arranged combos, co-owners and brothers Tomas and Dae Ho Paek are committed to providing customizable meal options for their guests.
All of the restaurant’s broths are prepared without MSG, and many are also vegan-friendly. In addition to shabu-shabu, diners can enjoy Bibim dishes and hot-stone plates featuring options such as galbi, chicken, bulgogi, or vegetables.
