Tanaka of Tokyo Central

 Tanaka of Tokyo, Japanese Seafood and Steak House is a teppanyaki restaurant in three different locations in Honolulu: West, Central and East. Both Tanaka Central and East are in prime location in Waikiki. Tanaka West is located in Ala Moana Shopping Center, which is the world's largest open-air shopping center. At Tanaka, you can enjoy wide varieties of seafood, steak and fresh vegetables ready to be cooked right in front of you and served right away. The chefs are highly skilled and your eyes will be entertained throughout dinner. 

Teppanyaki is a Japanese cuisine that uses a hot metal plate to be used when grilling, broiling and pan-frying food. You get seated along with other people at the same table. A chef comes out when everyone in the table has ordered their choice of teppanyaki and then cooks in front of you. You have the option to choose a single meat or fish. Combinations are also available or you can just add a side item of meat. Vegetarian option is available as well. If you do not want Teppanyaki, you can always get other dishes such as sushi. 

 *As your food is cooked along with other ingredients, it is important that you let your servers know if you are allergic to any fish, meat, vegetables or condiments like soy sauce.

 All entrees at Tanakas come with salad, grilled shrimp appetizer, vegetables, rice, soup, green tea and ice cream dessert. Most popular entree is "Sho Gun", which is a combination of Angus beef tenderloin, scallops and whole lobster tail.
