Piggy’s Place - Shirokiya Japan Village Introduction
At Piggy's Place in Shirokiya Village of Ala Moana Shopping Center, you can taste Hawaiian traditional Kalua pork. Kalua is a Hawaii's traditional cooking method of cooking pork in an underground oven.
You can enjoy a variety of Hawaiian dishes and Kalua pork along with some cabbage. Established in 2018, Piggy's Place also operates in a separate food truck and is recommended for those who wants to eat local food.
Piggy's Place is located in Shirokiya Japan Village Walk. It is a great tourist spot, and even many locals go there to enjoy beer and Japanese food after work. Shirokiya is usually packed on week nights and seats are hard to find on weekend nights.
