The Gazebo Maui is a small, somewhat hidden gem that has garnered immense popularity among both locals and visitors to Maui. Located right on the ocean adjacent to Napili Bay, this charming restaurant offers breathtaking ocean views. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, including outstanding pancakes, omelets, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. One highlight is their coconut syrup, which pairs wonderfully with their pancakes, though traditional maple syrup is also available. The restaurant is particularly famous for its generous serving of fried rice, packed with chunks of meat and vegetables.

The only drawback of The Gazebo Maui is the inevitable wait time. Depending on the crowd and time of day, patrons can expect to wait outside for 20 to 45 minutes. However, the stunning ocean view makes the wait a pleasant experience.

The Gazebo Maui is situated in the Napili area of Maui. Napili is not an actual town but a region along the west coast, located north of Lahaina and Kaanapali, and south of Kapalua. This area features numerous oceanfront condos, as well as some homes and condos across the street from the beach. If you’re staying at one of the major hotels on Kaanapali Beach, it will take approximately 18 minutes by car to cover the 6 miles to The Gazebo. For those staying in Kapalua, the drive is just about 5 minutes. Guests can take advantage of free parking at the Napili Shores condo lot, where The Gazebo is located at the ocean end of the complex.
