Liko Lehua at Pauahi is a family restaurant near Hilo Airport in Big Island. The restaurant specializes in American food such as burgers and sandwiches and known for making its own handcrafted butters with family recipe. The butters are made in seven different flavors: Lilikoi, Mango, Guava, Coconut, Pineapple, Tahitian Lime, and Hawaiian Vanilla.
Liko Lehua first opened in 1996 by the current owner's aunt. In 2011, original owner passed down the restaurant to her niece Dawn. Dawn, together with her husband and three kids, operate the restaurant. They welcome the customers with Aloha and Ohana spirit. The visitors to the restaurant can sit back, relax, enjoy food while feeling at home.
The restaurant's business extended across the Pacific to LA. The handmade butters garnered love around the world. The family business emphasizes on green and fresh ingredients. In addition to butters, Liko Lehua is also known for its Garlic Shrimp Pasta, Eggplant Polenta, Balsamic Cheesy Bread and Mediterranean Pasta.
