Eggs ‘n Things Waikiki Beach Eggspress Introduction
First Eggs 'n Things opened in 1974 on Ena Road in Waikiki. The founders Jerry and Jan Fukunaga, a husband and wife, emphasized Aloha and Ohana spirit for the restaurant. Today, there are four Eggs'n Things in Oahu and one in Guam. The chain is very popular among locals and often cited as one of the restaurants to go when visiting Hawaii. When visiting any of the location, you can feel the "good ole days" charm as the restaurant is decorated with pictures and items that represent Hawaii's past.
Since the beginning, Jerry and Jan have maintained using fresh ingredients and keeping the menu price reasonable despite the chain's popularity and fame that 20-30 minute wait is usually expected here if you go during rush hour. What makes Eggs 'n Things unique is that you can enjoy breakfast and brunch menu at anytime of the day.
Some of the must-eat items on the menu include the pancakes served in generous amount of fruit, omelets that are made with 3 fresh island eggs, and Hawaii Hawaii's popular local dish loco moco. Most entrees come with generous portion, so you will be leaving the restaurant full and satisfied. You can also enjoy Ribeye steak, egg benedict and crepes. Set menus for 2 are also available in some locations.
There are two Eggs 'n Things in Waikiki, one in front of Ala Moana shopping center, and one in Ko Olina.
