Established in 2006 and operating from the historic Sakamoto Store in Waikapu, this business initially began as a tour boat operator, offering daily Molokini snorkel trips aboard the 92-foot motor yacht, Prince Kuhio. As the economy downturn impacted operations, the company pivoted to serving local food to construction workers, tour drivers, and office staff in nearby towns. The Prince Kuhio was eventually sold, and the focus shifted entirely to their thriving food operation.
Today, visitors can enjoy fresh, homemade food daily. Specializing in local cuisine, they offer island favorites such as Lau Lau (boneless pork steamed in luau leaves, grown on-site) and homemade saimin (ramen) made with Maui's very own Iwamoto noodles. Fresh Lehua Poi, harvested from their own taro farm, is also available. This spot is a must-visit for an authentic taste of island flavors.
