Fukurou Introduction
Fukurou is a restaurant established in 2022, located inside the popular bar Buho Cocina y Cantina in Waikiki. The names "Buho" and "Fukuro" refer to the owl, an important 'Aumakua in Hawaiian culture, which serves as a protector between heaven and earth. Here, guests can enjoy an Omakase-style dining experience that beautifully blends Japanese Kaiseki cuisine with delicate Mexican flavors. Chef Yuya Yamanaka, a nominee for USA Today’s 2019 Best New Restaurant, collaborates with sushi expert Chef Miki Yanagihara to offer unforgettable dishes.
